Munich in October

Dear MC-Researcher

Visiting Munich in October is a very good time of the year. Expect colder, but still nice weather and the trees in full autumn colors. This is also a great time to visit the Mountains or the famous Chateaus and Castles in southern Bavaria. Munich in also renowned for its museums, opera, and theaters.

Oktober Fest: The conference starts when another big event in Munich ends: the world famous October Fest. If you want to get this experience, plan to come already for the weekend before (Oct 4-5). Expect higher Hotel prices during this weekend and reserve rooms ASAP (we have pre-reserved hotel rooms for reasonable prices for the conference period, but can not help with reservations during the weekend before the conference).
