Objectives

The objectives of the MCP'03 Congress are:

    • to emphasize the role of MCP as an integral component of cohesive customer-focused strategies applied by successful product and service providers.

    • to promote debate on MCP based on various approaches; e.g. engineering, computer science, operations research, organizational theory, consumer psychology.

    • to gather information on the most recent and relevant progress of core technologies and business models in the area of MCP and accelerate their development.

    • to give an international overview of advances in MCP and to share best practices from different countries world-wide.

    • to bring together the greatest possible number of international MCP researchers and practitioners to facilitate the exchange of ideas and opinions.

    • to provide a fruitful environment for the discussion of valued traditions in MCP as well as for breaking new grounds.

    • to contribute to the continuity of relations within the MCP research community and to foster future collaborations between participants.

    • to disseminate information widely across the practitioner and the academia worlds outside the congress using new information technologies.
